Junior Testing Engineer

They ensure the high quality and security of our digital solutions which we use to guide our customers through their digital journey. Join our team of over 100 quality-driven testers in the Netherlands who all share a passion for testing with the latest technologies.

 

As a Junior Testing Engineer you will start with a 3-month training period in which you will learn testing and follow the ISTQB course for your certification.

 

Your role:

Before an IT solution can be implemented it needs to be thoroughly tested, and that where you as a Junior Test Engineer will come in. Does the solution meet requirements? Can the end-user use it? In order to find out, you will:

 

  • Understand the client’s needs and quality requirements,
  • Set up test automation frameworks and plans, describe test specifications.
  • Run various tests and analyse results: are there risks? Where is improvement possible and needed?
  • You will report on your analysis and findings, and review peer test cases and scripts.
  • You will take part in Agile ceremonies, where you will discuss your findings and work together with a multi-disciplinary team.

Depending on your residence, you will be based out of our offices in Amstelveen or Groningen. Our culture is very flexible on work location. Depending on your client you can also work at the client or from home. International travel may be an opportunity when willing.

Who are you?

Although previous testing experience is always welcome, it is not a prerequisite. We are looking for enthusiastic, bright and eager new colleagues who enjoy a challenge. You are curious and analytic, structured and persistent.

 

  • You’re eager to learn,
  • An HBO+-level degree is necessary,
  • Fluent Dutch (and English) is also required.
