Description

What You’ll Do

As the Key
Account Director (KAD) you are Oracle’s primary leader and sponsor for
one of the largest banks of the world. You will drive overall account
growth and customer satisfaction by managing key relationships across
all client divisions, Lines of Businesses and across all regions.  

You
will ensure that your customer achieves value from Oracle solutions in
enabling its business. Key responsibilities include developing &
owning the account strategy, aligning and managing the various Line of
Business sales teams, driving effective account management processes,
tracking and communicating progress, and growing Oracle’s revenues
across the full breadth of Oracle solutions.

As a high energetic,
innovative and motivated individual you will lead a senior account
team, understanding key business requirements of your banking customer
and develop "tailored" Oracle solutions. It´s your ambition to grow
Oracle’s mindshare, cross-pillar revenue, and share of wallet by at the
same time delivering first class service for your customer.

The
successful candidate will have a unique opportunity to lead and grow an
innovative, modern cloud-focused Sales Consulting team within an
organization that is rapidly growing its cloud presence and cloud
business.

As a Key Account Director for one of the largest banks in the world you will:

  • Maintain
    a thorough understanding of the customer's industry, including trends,
    business processes, financial measurements and performance indicators,
    and key competitors;
  • Build, maintain and expand relationships
    with the customer's executive team and providing a “one face, one
    Oracle” strategy for the customer;
  • Develop and maintain the
    multi-year strategic account plan for your customer including large
    transformational opportunities to meet or exceed customer objectives and
    Oracle sales goals;
  • Orchestrate the world-wide Oracle team to
    execute the strategy and plan by coordinating and leading of activities
    across the different solution domains and partners;
  • Drive a high level of customer satisfaction for the bank by inspiring customer loyalty through a ´Can Do´ attitude in action.



Required Skills/Experience What You’ll Bring

You
have that rare combination — a sharp business brain and a mindset for
Cloud-based IT enablement. You’ll use this to help customers achieve
tangible success through our solutions and capabilities. We will look
for:

  • Overall 5+ years in the Information Technology industry with a focus on Cloud and proven success with transformational selling.
  • Relevant experience in the Banking industry, ideally with one of the large, international banks in Switzerland.
  • A
    strong understanding of infrastructure and application-related IT
    enablement for the banking industry and the respective Cloud
    marketplace.
  • History and track record of business/account plan development, execution and resulting achievement of revenue targets.
  • Proven ability in managing complex sales cycles from start to finish with a track record of successful revenue attainment.
  • Ability to work with and influence C-level executives.
  • Strong
    business acumen to establish credibility, exude authority, gain
    confidence, and build trust through articulating business value and
    benefits of different technology solutions in terms of TCO & ROI.
  • Experience
    cultivating mutually beneficial relationships with strategic partners
    and alliances based on highest ethical standards
  • Experience as a leader in a global, multi-cultural team selling environment.
  • Ability to take actions and solve problems while exhibiting sound judgment and a realistic understanding of issues.
  • Strong
    interpersonal and presentation skills; superior problem-solving skills
    and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English is a Must; knowledge of German would be an added advantage.
