We are looking for a new Lead Engineer for EMC. This position offers substantial room for growth. The successful candidate will establish a new group to minimize electromagnetic noise. You will support drivetrain design activities creating some of the fastest automobiles in the world.

The Lead Engineer for EMC will be responsible for qualification tests of components at Rimac Automobili. The EMC engineer should have a working knowledge of automotive standards for immunity and susceptibility.

As EMC Engineer, you will collect data and process it into engineering reports. Deviations from requirements are to be identified and subject to root cause analysis. The EMC engineer will participate in remediation.

 

1. Responsibilities

  • Perform EMC analyses beginning at the design stage, continuing through product support.
  • Qualify individual components to pass required standards. Also, perform same on the vehicle level.
  • Diagnose non-conformities.
  • Measure radiated and conducted emissions and susceptibility.
  • Identify applicable standards for automotive components.
  • Specify and order test equipment for in-house testing.
  • Interface between Testing Department and R&D
  • Establish design guidelines and provide expert advice to circuit and machine designers.
