Manager, Finance and Business Operations

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Manager for Finance and Business Operations, passionate about driving strategic, operational and organizational improvements at a well-funded hyper growth technology startup in the Business Intelligence space. The ideal candidate will have a very strong analytical background with demonstrated ability to apply problem-solving skills in a business context. In this role, you will build trust-based relationships with key business stakeholders, gather quantitative and qualitative data, perform analyses and develop compelling recommendations. You will also help design a data driven business system, and drive strategic initiatives across the company.

This position reports to the Director, Finance and Business Operations, and is based in Prague. Occasional travel to Brno may be required. Proficiency in both Czech and English required.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop sophisticated and persuasive analyses and recommendations necessary to drive the key company activities

• Optimize resource use and allocation

• Lead execution against recommendations

• Drive operational management of business and customer analytics

QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements:

• 2-4 years relevant work experience with top tier management consulting firms or Big4 company; technology industry experience a plus

• Demonstrated superior analytical and problem solving skills; great comfort with handling vast quantities of data and summarizing meaningful insights

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in Czech and English with evidence of managing customer interaction in a business environment

• Demonstrated high energy, an ability to deliver under tight deadlines, and an ability to work well in team environments

• Demonstrated initiative in an unstructured environment

• International experience desirable, either during studies or previous job experience

• Interest in SaaS startup companies

Education

• A Master degree in Finance, Science or Engineering
