Manual QA Engineer

Checkmarx is looking for QA engineer to join the intimate, growing team of Checkmarx's new CxIAST product.

The candidate will join the quality assurance team of a new cyber-security product, and work on both the front- and the back-end of it.

This is a great opportunity to get into the cyber-security world, learn new technologies and take a significant role in the making of a successful product.

Responsibilities

•  Design, create and execute manual and automatic test plans
• Work closely with the developers and product manager
• Conduct root cause analysis of identified bugs, providing required information to understand, replicate and resolve them

Manage bug tracking and resolution processes so that a consistent, documented process is used and followedDeliver a high quality product in defined timelines

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience as a manual software QA engineer - Must
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test documents - Must
• Hands-on experience with testing of UI and back-end of complex / distributed systems
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Experience in working with incomplete or ambiguous requirements
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development process
• Hands-on experience with relational DB
• Knowledge of web technologies, http, REST etc.
• Excellent team & autonomous work capabilities
• Strong analytical skills
• Enjoy learning new technologies
• Good English skills
• Autodidact
• Highly motivated
• Experience in web application testing
• Hands-on experience with Java/Java Script
• Experience in test automation
• Hands-on experience in Linux OS
• ISTQB certified
