Marketing Intern

Birdee is currently recruiting a Marketing Intern.

Responsibilities

Let’s be clear: during this internship, you will actually work and learn, so don’t expect to get away with small tasks like making coffee or photocopies or whatever unlucky interns at other companies have to deal with. We need you to bring your fresh unbiased point of view on various matters, ranging from methodology to strategic decisions. You will work and assist our marketing team on the management of the overall communication, online and offline. You will also help reach the specific targets the team has set up, and create certain contents for the press or directly for the audience. Reactivity and adaptability will be part of your daily challenges, as a startup environment is always on the move.
The range of activities and responsibilities is wide and not limited to the following list of tasks:

• Monitoring all touchpoints through which prospects and clients are in contact with Birdee
• Managing carefully the online communication according to the company’s strategy (news publication on the website, social media management, external forums or blogging platforms, etc.)
• Performing daily business intelligence in order to keep an updated view on the industry
• A/B testing various digital campaigns (website changes, AdWords, Facebook Ads, etc.)
• Managing the communication with the press

Qualifications

• Education
  • Bachelor or Master student in Communication or Management major, with a specialization in Marketing
• Hard skills
  • Microsoft Office
  • Social media tips and tricks
  • Visual creativity, able to use Pages or similar design tools
• Soft skills
  • Team player and team oriented attitude
  • Good analytical, with the ability to quickly understand and resolve issues
  • Creativity and critical thinking with a good dose of curiosity
• Communication
  • Fluent in FR and EN
  • Strong communication skills written and oral

Practical details

• Internship of at least 3 months
• Main location: Rue Forgeur 17 – 4000 Liège, Belgium
