Middle Java Backend Engineer

Summary:

Romexsoft invites Middle Java Backend Engineer to join our team and become a part of a brand new project from Canada.

It’s not a typical vacancy from e-commerce/fintech/healthcare, you will contribute to solutions used by funeral homes all over the globe to help people through an extremely difficult period in their life.

Responsibilities:

• Implementation of new features and code refactoring on the backend
• Work closely with customer’s CTO to ensure that product meets high-availability & security standards
• Write quality and maintainable code following development best practices
• Participate in the review process for all code before it can go into production
• Develop unit and/or functional tests

Requirements:

• 2+ years of Java development experience for web applications
• Experience with Java 8+
• Hibernate
• Spring (MVC, Boot, Security, Data)
• MySQL
• Maven
• English – intermediate strong/upper-intermediate

Will be an advantage:

• Previous experience with AWS environment
