Mobile Developer (iOS and/or Android)

Bynder is looking for a mobile developer to join our Barcelona team. You will work closely with product owners, designers and other developers. As a team you will be responsible to design, define, develop and implement new features for our current mobile applications. You are a skilled mobile engineer who is interested in developing smart solutions in a globally distributed agile team. Our development team is building a cloud-based SaaS product for marketeers to automate and streamline their workflow in today’s globalized business environment. We are looking for someone with an international and user focused mindset: our success is built on putting user experience first.

You will be part of a rapidly growing team of developers, located in Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Barcelona and San Mateo. Our development team is split into autonomous squads, each with responsibility for their own area of the product. Our culture is characterized by teamwork, innovation, passion and a flat hierarchy.

What you will do:

• You will maintain and extend Bynder's current iOS or Android application
• You will be working with Agile methodologies
• You will be involved in the whole development process, from a solutions design to its implementation, test and release.

Qualifications

What you have:

• Degree in Computer science or other Technical Discipline or relevant work experience
• 2+ years of experience as a mobile developer iOS and/or Android
• API experience with HTTP, REST and JSON
• Strong programming fundamentals (data structures, design patterns,  and algorithms)
• Motivation to improve the user experience
• Experience with object-oriented programming
• Ability and willingness to write well structured and clean code
• You live in/near or you are willing to relocate to Barcelona
• Fluency in English

BONUS SKILLS

• Experience working within B2B, SaaS/Cloud, DAM or marketing technology
• Experience with React Native
• Experience with Kotlin
• Familiarity with AWS
