Motor Mechanical Engineer (m/f) - China, Xiangyang
Xiangyang, China

Rimac Automobili is a technology powerhouse, manufacturing electric hypercars and providing full tech solutions to global automotive manufacturers. Our teams develop and produce both hardware and software solutions for the Concept_One and C_Two as well as numerous public and confidential projects, thus positioning Rimac as a leader in the high-performance electric vehicle industry.

In 2018 Rimac Automobili and Camel Group, which is the largest battery manufacturer in Asia, jointly invested in Xiangyang, Hubei province, to build a factory that will produce powertrains for electric cars, engines and inverters. By the end of 2019 it is estimated that the factory will produce up to 150 thousand car engines.

Regarding the location, Xiangyang is in a unique geographical position, since it is equally distant from the three most important economic points of China: Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong. Because Xiangyang is rapidly working on building new energy vehicles, 30 R & D Centres in auto industry came to this area and the interest is still growing.

Therefore, we are looking for engineers that are familiar with the process of developing complex systems from the idea all the way to the finished product. A hands-on approach and a very good understanding of technological processes involved in the development and production of powertrain systems is mandatory. The ideal candidate has a strong passion for cars, technology and engineering with a background of mechanical and/or electrical engineering education and additional projects within the industry.
