Operations Manager / Customer Success Manager

Transfluent is building a seamless translation platform that handles hundreds of projects per day and is experiencing rapid growth. We have offices in Helsinki, California and Texas and cater to customers worldwide. Our mission is to make human translations easy and become the leading translation provider in the Nordics. We are now looking for aspiring digital transformation professionals to join our Operations team in Helsinki and help us reach that goal.

Operations Manager

This role is about ensuring that every order our customers place goes smoothly. The ideal candidate would have strong problem solving skills, an understanding of processes, and experience of resource management systems (CRM, ERP, etc.). We convey hundreds of translation assignments from clients to translators each day and we are looking for a high-achiever who is passionate about providing the best service to customers while at the same time solving operational challenges and improving processes.

The ultimate goal of an Operations Manager is to ensure that every order is safely received, assigned to a suitable translator, processed, and eventually delivered back to the customer within a given timeline. While taking care of all this, your responsibility would also be to develop our system to be more scalable. We would need you to communicate system improvements efficiently to our tech team and come up with solutions to operational problems that will increase scalability and reduce manual work in our platform.

Customer Success Manager

This role is about ensuring customer happiness and driving retention and growth. This includes various tasks from gathering customer feedback and providing excellent customer service to account management initiatives and basic order handling. The ideal candidate would be a business generalist who could adapt and multitask when the situation requires it. You need to have strong interpersonal skills for client communication (inbound sales, customer service, account management), as well as a can-do attitude towards performing operational work (project management, system related work). The role is located between the client (front-end) and operations (back-end) and, therefore, both skills are required in order to succeed.

Once you understand the business fundamentals, we would like you to participate in business development as well. We would like you to come up with a strategy for driving growth and increasing retention through the use of data and customer feedback.

Requirements for both positions:
– can-do attitude;
– university degree or advanced studies in industrial engineering and management, information networks, business or similar.
– IT skills for platform development;
– social skills for sales, customer service and translator management;
– interested in languages and culture;
– fluent in Finnish and English;
– previous experience in a tech startup is considered a plus
