Payroll Analyst

Assist in coordinating the inputs needed for processing payroll in all WeWork locations within EMEA, in a managed payroll operating model. Liaise with internal HR partners to collect and organize payroll data before submitting to payroll providers. Liaise with payroll providers on submissions and review of payroll data within agreed upon timeframes. Assist with handling queries from employees, internal partners and vendors.

SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES:

  • Assist manager with coordinating the monthly payroll for EMEA employees, including review of inputs and outputs for reasonableness and completion
  • Participate in discussions with vendor regarding payrolls to ensure proper handling of issues and use of controls to mitigate risk
  • Address inquiries from various internal teams, such as HR, Shared Services, etc.
  • Run payroll reports and assist the Compensation Accounting team with queries regarding payroll accounting
  • Assist with Firm initiatives and projects, as needed

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Strong Payroll experience in a similar role
  • Solid functional knowledge, commensurate with level, including understanding of payroll processes and regulations.
  • Analytical skills that enable candidate to recognize and resolve problems.
  • Capable of working independently, as member of internal team, and in partnership with vendors.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of Excel
  • 4-year college degree
