Pre-production Software Tester

Job Description

In its quest to constantly increase quality of its product, Hoist Group is looking for an experienced tester taking charge of the pro-production testing.

Pre-production testing is a mandatory step before proceeding with release to production. While standard tests are completed in each product-line team, pre-production tests consists in checking that release deployment is working correctly, that there is no regression brought by the new release, and test integrations verifying that the new release has no impact on all connected systems to the released product.

Responsibilities:
Manage the pre-production testing activities as part of the Software level 3 and deployment support team.
Set-up and maintain the pre-production test environment for software products.
Align the test conditions as close as possible to production environment.
Document and Execute Test Cases (Manually and Automated) on pre-production platform.
Analyze results, report Bugs and Errors to development teams.
Conduct Post-Release / Post-Implementation testing. 
Conduct cross product pre-production testing ( end to end testing)
Review user interfaces for consistency and functionality.
Build release quality report for each test campaign, tracking number of issues, their severity and type.
Feedback to the different product teams on improvement, and identified patterns.
 

Requirements: 
Proven experience as a QA Software Tester or Similar Role. 
Ability to document and troubleshoot errors. 
Analytical Mind and Problem Solving Attitude. 
Proficiency in English is mandatory.
Good communicate skills.
Autonomous in organizing work
 

Qualifications:
Testing methodology, types and strategy
Good methodical work structure
Software and system integrations understanding and experience
Linux & windows basic experience
Minimum 3 years Quality Assurance experience
Experience in Hospitality market is a plus
Basic network knowledge
