How you'll make an impact at Collibra:

As our PreSales Engineer, Strategic Accounts you will be responsible for all technical aspects of the sales cycle, as well as helping to ensure customer satisfaction. You will be an essential part of the sales organization at Collibra, and will be a key player in the development of our largest customers.

A day in the life of a PreSales Engineer, Strategic Accounts at Collibra:

You’ll be reporting into one of our PreSales Director, and will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

  • Managing all technical aspects of the sales cycle with the customers. This includes creating high-quality professional presentations, prototypes, custom demos and proof of concepts, delivering technical deep-dive sessions & use-case discovery.
  • Serving as internal technical liaison (e.g. Product Management, Product Marketing, and Professional Services) to include documenting and delivering product feedback and new requirements from the field.
  • Proactively broaden and deepen relationships with customers by working with varying levels of their business and technical team members including C-suite.
  • Developing sales proposals
  • Providing technical sales support
  • Identifying, evaluating, and recommending proof of concept opportunities
  • Running end to end proof of concepts
  • Preparing and providing input for technical sections of RFPs/ RFQs
  • Communicating with product management and sales enablement on issues identified from field observations and customer feedback 

You Have:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field
  • 5+ years’ experience working as a PreSales Engineer, must be enterprise software and F100 experience highly preferred.
  • 3+ years’ experience in data management, analytics, visualization or BI
  • Worked with at one or more of the following: Data Privacy, Data Governance, Enterprise Integration, Business Intelligence, Data Modeling tools, API’s, BPMN engines
  • Knowledgeable of the challenges faced by several vertical markets including high tech, financial services, healthcare, government, and retail.
  • Previous responsibilities for all technical aspects of the sales cycle (including POCs)
  • Proven track record of demonstrating software tool solutions and executing successful proof of concept plans to enterprise prospects
  • Excellent communication ability around both technology and business
  • Customer focused at all times and personally hold yourself accountable for the customer’s success.
  • Willing to travel up to 50%
  • For this specific position, US authorization is required.
