About the Department

The Product team at Cloudflare sits at the intersection of software development, design, and business strategy. We shape high-level product goals but also get our hands dirty. We have ultimate responsibility for understanding our client needs, influencing business strategy, feature specification, and working with engineering to develop our software.

Cloudflare customers range from individual consumers to large multinational corporations and they use a wide range of products that help them make their sites and apps faster and more secure.

Interns at Cloudflare get to explore and work with some of the newest and most innovative advances in security and networking. You will lead a product from the discovery phase to the implementation and delivery. As part of the discovery phase, you will work with customers and customer facing teams to identify the main use cases and define the main problems to be solved. You will then continue to work closely with software engineers and designers to discover, invent, and build at the largest scale. 

You will be exploring challenges in networking, network security, project management and much more.

About You

PM's at Cloudflare are very technical. You need a background in engineering, computer science, mathematics or statistics and are looking to explore a role that is very customer and business focused. You enjoy wearing multiple hats and have an entrepreneurial mindset.

Minimum qualifications:

  • A background in Computer Networks & Routing, Network Security, Computer Science, Engineering, IT or similar
  • Currently in the first year of a full-time MBA program or any year in a technical or business graduate program (Masters or Phd) or equivalent work experience
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program with a technical focus
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills and drive to learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Ability to complete a 12 week program beginning in May or June 2020
