Product Manager, Platform

Apiary is seeking a talented Product Manager to grow our team in Prague.

You’ll be working on cutting-edge Platform features to support our API Design, Testing and Collaboration Suite. You will take ownership of your entire product area, from ideation, all the way through to launch and you will use a bias towards action to break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

As part of the Product Management team, you bridge the technical and business worlds as you design services that our customers love. You'll work with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and DevOps.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather requirements and formulate them into testable acceptance criteria and stories
  • Maintain strong contact with customers and the API design/development market
  • Use Agile methods to work with Engineering teams, both onsite and remote; assume an active role in team’s productivity and happiness
  • Maintain and prioritize backlogs; triage issues and feature requests
  • Work with company leadership on Apiary’s Product Roadmap
  • Help guide Product Vision and Strategy

Requirements

  • Must have a background in Product Management or in managing a technology business
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills are essential; ability to prioritize against competing needs
  • Excellent written, oral and presentation skills; strong negotiation tactics are essential in this position
  • Experience developing SaaS applications between Internet Products Mobile Applications, Software Platforms and/or REST APIs
  • A Computer Science or Engineering degree is a strong plus; at a minimum have strong technical abilities
  • Candidate must be based in Prague, Czech Republic
  • Proficient command of the English language
  • Ability to travel worldwide
