Product Owner

About the role

This is an exciting role to work on the development of Academic’s flagship product, Cambridge Core. You will have ownership and responsibility for areas of the Cambridge Core platform, with responsibility for delivering developments (new products/features/improvements) in line with business and customer needs.

This is a fast moving agile based team, and you will play a key part in bridging the technical and business worlds, working with colleagues across the business to deliver against the product’s roadmap.

About you

You will have experience working as a Product Owner, certified as a Scrum/Kanban product owner and have a passion for web technology. You will love to get beneath the skin of requirements to deliver the best possible experiences. Publishing experience is advantageous but not essential, as the primary need for this role is to understand web behaviours and to drive forward the product development. You must have excellent communication and negotiation skills as well as an ability to understand and work within a customer first environment.
