RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Functional management of individual R&D projects from the Sustainable Businesses portfolio
  • Identify and develop new project ideas and lead interdisciplinary innovation projects
  • Steer the necessary innovation management processes
  • Conduct market, potential, and technology analysis while taking into account economic aspects
  • Interact with future customers of R&D projects
  • Manage public projects and/or collaborations
  • Work on the topics while taking into account relevant patents, identify white spots as well as collaborate in the development of new IP

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Successfully completed degree in chemistry, business chemistry or material sciences, doctorate would be advantageous
  • Experience in project management, ideally in the area of Research & Development (R&D)
  • Initial experience in business development as well as with business models for specialty chemicals 
  • Profound knowledge in the areas of thermal management, energy storage, or energy conversion
  • Confident manner and commitment in dealing with internal and external business partners and customers
  • Fluent English language skills, written and spoke
