QA Engineer
ROLE SUMMARY
Working on one of our established Scrum teams we are seeking a Test Engineer, keen to add value to our expanding product suite. For this role, you will need to be committed testing and QA having experience designing developing and implementing automated tests in Selenium Webdriver whilst also utilizing manual test experience where automation frameworks cannot reach.
You will fundamentally believe that quality code is the only acceptable code and will play a key role in code reviews, using this as a mechanism that helps both you and the team improve. You will also believe that our designs and tech designs need to be questioned you will be aware that this is the most efficient way to fix any issues. Working in Agile is key as is your willingness to work in this environment and you will have experience working in a high release, Scrum, automated test and continuous integration landscape previously. You will work closely with the development arm of your team as well as the product arm and where necessary coach our engineers to write automated tests.
Being an integrated part of the Agile team, you will be knowledgeable in programming languages such as Java or any other object oriented language as well as having previous experience implementing automated regression tests across a variety of platforms .
It is important for us that you are a self-starter, excited by engineering challenges at all levels and are passionate about continuously growing your skills and making a difference to the team. We want you to flourish in this role and will actively encourage your bringing of ideas and solutions to the team offering a different point of view when faced with code conundrums. QA principles and the scrum environment are key to your mind set and you will be a key proponent in engraining this in the team.
