Receptionist (Part-time)

About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity to work in our Reception Team and be the first point of contact for visitors to Cambridge University Press. The hours for this role are from 12.45 to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

You will greet all of our visitors and notify their Press contact of their arrival. You will also be responsible for answering incoming calls to the business and redirecting them to the appropriate Press contact. There are a number of administrative roles which you will have the opportunity to complete, including assisting visitors who are parking here, allocation of pool cars and other administration as required by the business.

About you:

You will be enthusiastic about offering first-rate customer service in line with the Press’ Customer First approach. You will have a flexible approach to your work and be open to continuous change and improvement. You care about attention to detail and you understand that your decisions matter. You are a good team player and you are also happy to work independently.

Important for this role is that you have excellent communication skills, verbal and written, you are well organised, have an aptitude for technology and you are confident to be the first point of contact for our visitors.
