Requirements:

Fluent in Ruby

Experience with Ruby on Rails, along with other common libraries such as Devise, Grape, Paperclip, RSpec

Familiar with object oriented programming, some design patterns and a genuine interest in web development

Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3

Good knowledge of relational databases

Extra credit:

Familiarity with MVC, ORM and RESTful APIs

Worked with source control (e.g. SVN, GIT) and bug/issue tracking (e.g. JIRA)

Good understanding of automated testing techniques

Experience with Linux

Adept at hacking open source software
