WHAT WE NEED:

We are looking for a skilled Senior Accountant to oversee all aspects of the recording, reporting and controlling of financial transactions

You will 'roll your sleeves up' to ensure delivery of an “on time and accurate” service to both local management and Corporate Accounting in the US. There will be a project focus in this role and the ability to balance operational and project work is key in this position.

Your key goal is to establish and maintain a robust financial control environment and ensure that the company’s assets are protected.

Key responsibilities are:

  • Financial Reporting Cycle. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial returns to internal local and international deadlines as well as fulfilling statutory requirements. This spans from bank reconciliations and the closing of the books of prime entry to the finalising of the Trial Balance and analytical review of the figures.
  • Customer Invoicing & Receipt Processing. Ensure customer contracts are recorded correctly, invoiced on time and in full and paid promptly.
  • Supplier Invoicing & Payment Processing. Set up and manage a Purchase Order process to ensure overheads are recorded accurately and on time. Manage the payment of suppliers to meet company cash management requirements whilst maintaining supplier relationships.
  • Tax Returns. Ensure compliance with all tax computations and filings to include Payroll, VAT, Corporation Tax and the various rebate initiatives.
  • Audit Support. Act as the point of contact for local and international auditors in the completion of the annual audit process and any related ad hoc projects.
  • Transfer Pricing. Maintain the model for intercompany transactions that utilises all available tax structures and maximises the return for the company.

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • An accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA) with a minimum 5 years post-qualification experience, preferably gained through a top-tier accounting practice.
  • 2 years of relevant experience and knowledge and understanding of Record to Report procedures in a global Shared Service Centre environment.
  • A background in the technology or software development sectors would be an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle or similar integrated software product, preferably gained during a system
    implementation.
  • Proficient in both US and Irish GAAP, with particular emphasis on revenue recognition, R&D and VAT.
  • A willingness to travel as required.

WHAT WE OFFER:

  • • A competitive compensation package which includes healthcare, vision, dental, life insurance, disability insurance, fitness reimbursement and much more.
  • A high degree of autonomy, flexibility and trust
