Senior Algorithm Developer - Tobii Tech

The algorithms in our eye tracking products consists of a complex combination of computer vision, signal processing and machine learning methods. We are looking for an experienced and driven algorithm developer to join our mission and tackle the challenge of bringing high quality eye tracking to mass market. 

In the Algorithm team at Tobii you are an important part of the core technology team, responsible for the development of eye tracking algorithms in all our products. 

The role and responsibilities 

As an algorithm developer your code will not only bring eye tracking into the everyday life of potentially billions of people but also improve the life for people with disabilities and make a difference in the understanding of human behavior. 

In this role you will: 

• Design and develop new ground-breaking methods
• Improve our current state-of-the-art algorithms 
• Optimize code to meet timing and memory requirements 
• Implement algorithms with production code quality 
• Make strategic decisions on future development    

 We are looking for someone who has: 

• At least 5 years of work experience in product R&D in fields related to images or other signals
• Good knowledge of and experience in C++ and/or Python 
• M.Sc. or PhD in engineering physics, computer science, mathematics or equivalent 

If you have experience in image processing, machine learning or signal processing, it is a great merit.
