About the Team

At Typeform, the Data team is making data our #1 asset. And we know how important that is— our product helps people collect information in the best way possible, by making it conversational.  

That’s why we need you. We’re looking for a Senior Data Scientist to work within the Customer Insights and Analytics team.

The Customer Insights and Analytics Team is focused on unlocking customer engagement and retention. We are responsible for identifying and monitoring initiatives that drive customer value, understanding the needs and sentiments of our current customers for Customer Success and Product team to improve our value proposition.

The Role

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Partner with Customer Success & Product to identify, prioritize and measure the impact of actions that drive customer value translating into engagement & retention
  • You’ll define and update key operating and user-engagement metrics that help us understand the health and forecast the future of our business
  • Continuously derive insights from our customers behaviours & journeys with advanced machine learning or statistical techniques.
  • Develop and maintain models to predict customer engagement, LTV and retention
  • Develop non-production machine learning models to predict customer behaviour that will eventually get deployed by ML Engineer/ ML Expert.
  • Work towards turning our forms into dynamic interfaces that adapt to consumer inputs, provide feedback and offer an experience that resembles interaction with another human
  • Work with our Data Viz Expert develop dashboards to visualize the key operating and user-engagement metrics
  • Communicate results and insights from your analyses to our top stakeholders, including founders and investors.
