Senior Developer

Apiary features the most used API Documentation Tooling in the world. Once you'll join our team, your work is going to be used by tenths of thousands and consumed by millions of developers.

You'll be fully responsible for developing and running well-defined part of our application. Together, you'll be collaborating with the rest of the team on providing the best documentation experience in the world. 

Requirements

  • Experience writing complex frontend applications
  • Experience with variety of frontend frameworks; willingness to work with Backbone and React
  • Comfortable with ideas of Continuous Delivery
  • Significant experience with (automated) testing, TDD/BDD a plus
  • Excellent knowledge of both client and server-side JavaScript, willing to work in CoffeeScript
  • Ability to assess the fit of the technologies in the existing context
  • In touch with the recent development
  • Excellent ability to explain your decisions and bring the rest of the developers on board
  • Willingness to run what you've build (and carrying pager to prove it)
  • Interest in product you are building (and willing to talk to customers about it; everybody in the company rotates on user support)
  • Experience working with APIs
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English
  • Ability to keep calm under pressure
  • Management experience a plus
  • Able to work in our Prague office most of the week (either based near Prague or willing to relocate)
