ABOUT THE POSITION

Leading a small team who would deliver & maintain:

• A reliable network, internet connection for the office
• Servers to share data
• Backup for all important data
• Sharing on-call responsibility with one other employee Monday - Friday 8:00-19:00
• Hardware and software support for the employees (mostly software engineers)

 This person would need to ensure that projects are delivered on time while they also need to work directly with the technology. The main goal for the department is to deliver good quality results without blocking other departments in their work. Ensuring business continuity.

Required skills:

• High level Linux knowledge (both .deb and .rpm side)
• Scripting knowledge (bash/python)
• Understanding networking protocols (DNS, DHCP, HTTP, FTP)
• Redundant firewall maintenance (Ubiquiti EdgeRouter)
• Knowledge of building and maintaining highly available systems
• Container orchestration (Docker Swarm)
• Setting up monitoring systems
• Designing and managing IT system
• Asset management
• Project management
• Strong communication skills

Advantages:

• Experience with Nagios, Prometheus, Jenkins, Git, Ansible
• XenServer

• Application Server Deployments
