SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPER

CTERA is a fast-growing startup in the space of cloud storage. We are looking for a strong JAVA developer to join our team of experts.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop services with focus on high-availability and performance
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code

Requirements:

• BSc or higher in Computer Science/Information Systems/Electrical engineering from a recognized university
• At least 5 years of proven experience
• Core Java expert (including multi-threading, optimizations, data structures, GC)
• Basic Linux experience (including basic shell scripting and OS understanding)
• End-to-end responsibility taker with “getting things done” mentality
• Burning desire to make beautiful, fast and scalable software

Advantage:

• Deep database knowledge (including schema design and query optimization)
