Senior Microservices Developer

MindGeek is looking for a Senior Microservices Developer to create and support our ever growing transformation of our platforms into a Domain Driven Designed SOA future. You are needed because we are dealing with the top 10 highest volume of traffic in the world.  The overall goals of this position is to find the right individual that will unlock the power of microservices to support our complex systems.

This person will be working a highly scalable platform that generates websites that currently dominant the market in the current market segment.  It is a platform developed using PHP micro-services with communication to React Applications.  Think of a CMS that combines traffic/domain management, ad management, payment flows and of course some highly curated pages.

• Tech Traits:

• Must: Knowledge of SOA or Microservice Based Architectures, hands on experience with PHP Back-End development, can breathe GIT, strong embracement of good programming principles, desire to chip away at impediments to reach a CD end-goal, MySQL experience, experience with Agile Teams, finally with hands on experience towards the different layers of caching/storage/utilization of queues
• Nice to Have: Hand on experience with Docker development environments, Laravel/Symfony experience, Domain Driven Design.  Active/Active complex SOA setups, Knowledge of APM tooling, knowledge of elastic services, Linux experience

• Personality Traits: Self-driven but team conscientious, desires perfection but is willing evolve in steps to get there, methodical and is not afraid to learn/make mistakes, willing to share and teach
