Senior Ruby on Rails developer

Diatom Enterprises is a middle-size software company in Europe, providing custom technology solutions for a wide variety of industries. We have been operating in the global market for 14 years and now are looking to expand our RoR team.

We are looking for a skilled full-stack (RoR/Ember.js) developer to work with an international team. If you are ready for a new challenge, this job offer is for you.

• Strong proficiency with Ruby on Rails, Ember.js, Postgress SQL, Node.js;
• Tools and processes common to agile development teams (Jira, Github, Slack);
• Integration with RESTful APIs;
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS);
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases;
• Application logging and monitoring;
• A comprehensive understanding of web performance optimisation considerations and techniques;
• Work experience as part of a Scrum-based Agile team, working closely with designers, business users, architects, back-end and front-end developers;
• Understanding of the principles and practices of Continuous Delivery;
• Active Github account with contributions to open source is a bonus;
• Experience with other technologies will be considered a big bonus;
• Upper-Intermediate or Advanced English language skills.
