For our SAP Practice we are looking for a Senior Project Manager with 10+ years of SAP program and project management experience for national and international project assignments. You are the contact person for our customers when planning and implementing complex process harmonization and IT consolidation programs. You competently support them in establishing permanent governance structures on a global, regional and local level and ensure the sustainable standardization of processes and IT. Your activities include project planning, management and control during all phases of implementation such as advice, analysis, design, implementation, testing, going live and operational support. You are responsible for the project results and ensure that the project goals are met in terms of time, budget, functionality and quality. In addition, you promote the personal and professional development of the consultants within the projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
∙ Corporate responsibility for the technical management of large SAP programs and project teams or sub-projects in a multi-project environment (> 50 team members)
∙ Responsibility for achieving the project goals in terms of time, budget and quality, project success and customer satisfaction in projects with a volume of up to € 30 million
∙ Planning, management and resource management of international and multidisciplinary (technologies, organizations), internal or external projects with delegated Profit & Loss responsibility and with largely defined and documented scope of services in relation to rollout, transition, transformation and development, while adhering to partially specified (or to be designed) processes and methods
∙ Responsibility for the structured communication within the project both to the SAP Practice project team and to the customer
∙ Direct control of the service units and the assigned employees in the technical management responsibility / control of sub-project managers
∙ Implementation of change processes in the technical content of the project
∙ Identification of open issues and deviations from the defined project scope and initiation of suitable measures
∙ Documentation of existing project results and experiences, review and / or lessons learned on project completion
∙ Contact person at divisional and CEO or managing director level, independent implementation of decision-making processes at defined levels in the company or with customers
∙ Analysis and communication with several stakeholder groups in the project and control of necessary decision-making processes and changes
∙ Definition and coordination of external services from contract partners
∙ Coaching of the participants in the project regarding the application of project management processes and methods
∙ Identification and continuous monitoring of the effects of the project with regard to the effects on finances, processes and organizations in the company or at the customer (including the effect of project progress on the company result)
∙ Partner of the customer in the definition and implementation of his business strategies with regard to processes and IT and their implementation in the national and international group organizations, in particular also with regard to the sustainable establishment of process and IT governance structures
Requirements:
∙ This position requires a degree in business administration, business informatics or computer science.
∙ As a project manager, you have at least 10 years of experience in the project business and profound professional know-how in the consolidation and harmonization of business processes and IT applications in the SAP ERP environment.
∙ You already have many years of professional and industry experience, have a PMP certification or similar
∙ You have a very good knowledge of the usual consulting and project management methods and tools, especially in the SAP environment, in particular you are familiar with SAP Activate as a methodology for S / 4 HANA implementations.
∙ You have also already worked with agile project procedures such as B. SCRUM and ideally you have used it in your own projects.
∙ You also have experience in leading large international and multicultural teams in a heterogeneous environment across national borders.
∙ Integration and control of offshore services is part of your tools.
∙ You have successfully consulted and accompanied the implementation of your customers' business strategies in corresponding process specifications and IT systems on several occasions nationally and internationally
∙ Your view of the SAP business always goes beyond the current project focus, especially the focus on generating new business is part of your DNA.
∙ Strong presentation skills, negotiation skills as well as process knowledge and industry know-how (e.g. manufacturing, telecommunication, energy, electronic, healthcare) are just as important for this task as communication skills, customer orientation and experience in contract design.
∙ With your fluent German and English skills you are a competent contact for our customers.
∙ Your personal skills include initiative, ability to make decisions, result orientation, organizational skills, assertiveness and teamwork.
∙ You are nationally and internationally mobile.
