Senior Solutions Engineer
Overview
A TIBCO Senior Solutions Consultant (SC) provides pre-sales technical marketing support for the development and implementation of customer applications dealing with complex operating systems.
What You'll Do
As Senior SC you will be responsible for making technical presentations regarding all aspects of company products, partnering with sales executives in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and preparing detailed product specifications. You will implement detailed customer installation requirements and provide follow-up support in disseminating technical information on specific applications to service personnel, company sales representatives, and customer’s employees.
You will have the aptitude and social skills to advance business opportunities and be an integral part of the sales process, ensuring any technical concerns and questions are addressed to ensure success in the sales cycle.

- Key experience will include one or more of the following: hands-on building of proof-of-concepts, conducting deep-dive design, architecture workshops, doing hands-on demos at meet-ups
Technical Skills required:
- Minimum of 4 years in a presales environment (includes hands-on building of proof-of-concepts, conducting deep-dive design & architecture workshops, doing hands-on demos at meet-ups)
- Must have the technical aptitude in one or more of the following areas: Application integration, microservices architecture, DevOps, messaging, web services, APIs, open source stack
- Expected to develop the necessary technical skills to be able to:
- Articulate features sets from major TIBCO product sets
- Perform thorough analysis of customer requirements
- Demonstrate product behaviours
- Position product within the TIBCO Connected Intelligence Platform
- Lead a team designing and deploying TIBCO technology
- Contribute in technical POC and RFI/RFP
- Speak at Industry Events, Meetups, and Workshops
- Expertise in one or more of following technology streams: Microservices, Dev-Ops/CI/CD, IoT, Eventing, Streaming Analytics, Spring/Node.js/C/C++/Java/Golang, Docker, Kubernetes, API Management
Education
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
