SEO Specialist - Italian Market

he Position

We are hiring a talented SEO Specialist for the Italian Market to join the growth team. This role will develop and implement new tactics to drive growth and to maximize the organic search channel as a whole. The SEO Specialist will have to make strategic decisions, creatively think outside the box, and work on multiple projects, with results-driven goals at the top of mind.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the SEO team members to develop and carry out strategies and tactics.
  • Develop, Manage and optimize onsite/offsite strategies to improve organic search engine performance and goal-setting based to ensure relevant results and positive user experience.
  • Monitor and optimize Google Search Console and a variety of SEO tools.
  • Work with Product, Development and Marketing teams to ensure correct implementation of SEO recommendations and best practices and to understand areas of improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest tools, trends and changes with SEO and major search engines.

Requirements

  • 3+ years SEO experience with an international e-commerce/online retail company.
  • Fluent in Italian - MUST
  • A track record of successful SEO program execution.
  • Thorough knowledge of search ranking and optimization factors and key algorithm updates.
  • Proficiency in web analytics software, keyword tools and SEO tools.
  • Experience with the web development process.
  • Excellent analytical skills, the ability to interpret data and trends along with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript as they relate to SEO.
  • Experience with Wordpress.
  • A team player with excellent written and oral communication skills.
