Omio (formerly GoEuro) is looking for a Senior DevOps expert who will help us scaling out our infrastructure and operations in decentralised environment as well as deploying new services for internal customers.

What you will do:

  • Design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure of Omio, make sure it is scaling out further from our current 500+ microservices.
  • Introduce new services for internal and external customers.
  • Automate all aspects regarding configuration, scheduling, monitoring and deployment.
  • Coordinate activities with hosting providers and scale IT infrastructure in new as well as already existing data centers.
  • Liaise between the Development, QA and Product Management teams to provide IT solutions.

Our technology stack is ever-evolving, here is the current snapshot:

  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and a bit of AWS
  • Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes (GKE, we are in touch with Google Kubernetes team)
  • Big umbrella of sugar-adding services for Kubernetes API (template rendering, AAA, etc)
  • Fully automated CI/CD on the scale of 500 microservices
  • ELK, Graphite, Grafana
  • CouchBase, MySQL, Redshift, BigQuery, BigTable
  • Wasabi (AB-testing engine)
  • Go, Python, JS, Bash

If you love IT and you are attached to large scale, high performance web systems, please have a look at our requirements:

  • You are an expert in public clouds (AWS, GCP), virtualization, network configuration, load balancing, auto-scaling.
  • Great experience with containers and orchestration.
  • You know how to build DevOps culture in agile environment.
  • Experience with SQL/NoSQL solutions, e.g. MySQL, Cassandra, CouchBase.
  • Solid spoken and written English.
