We are now looking for a Software Test Engineerwho will work in aTesting Department at Rimac Automobili. 

The candidate for this position will be a part of the Testing team who work on the testing of the IVI(In-Vehicle Infotainment) systems, M2M (Machine to Machine) systems and Mobile Applicationsthat are developed for the RimacAutomobili and OEM projects.

1. Responsibilities

  • Validate /qualify software for highly complex In-vehicle infotainment products, M2M products and mobile applications

  • Create test plans and test cases; Execute test cases / checklists

  • Search for anomalies and bugs in functionality and visual presentation

  • Coordination with development team to resolve issues

  • PerformTesting / Automated Testing in vehicle as well as bench testing/troubleshooting

  • You are expected to write precise and clear reports about found issues

  • Proactivity and initiative on improving of all aspects of software testing

 

2. Requirements

  • Knowledge of software testing and the software testing processes, with experience in working at a similar position for at least 2 years

  • Knowledge of software life cycle

  • Experience with using a bug-tracking software 

  • Knowledge of basic scripting (Python, bash, etc.)

  • Experience with automated testing tools is a plus

  • B.Sc or a higher degree in Computer Science or a related field

  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team with other Hardware, Software and Test Engineers

  • Good English skills, both in verbal and written form

 

3. Considered as an advantage

  • A responsible person, with a sharp eye for details and a joy in "breaking things"

  • Highly motivated and accountable for assigned tasks

  • Experience with Squish tool for automation is a plus

  • Knowledge of C++ / Java is a plus 

  • Knowledge of the CI is a plus

  • Problem solving attitude

  • Team Leadership skills

  • Organizational skills
