Solution Architect

Upsolver’s solutions architects drive customer satisfaction with a solution based approach and deep technical expertise in streaming, big data and cloud. The goal is to understand customer use cases and challenges around streaming data and become a trusted valuable advisor.

Responsibilities:

• Engage customers, prospects and partners to drive pre- and post-sales success with Upsolver’s software.
• Tailor big data solutions and architectures based on Upsolver’s product, streaming platforms like Apache Kafka, databases like Redshift or BigQuery, distributed SQL engines like AWS Athena and object storage like AWS S3.
• Become an expert in Upsolver’s platform and how it should be properly used.
• Provide valuable product feedback and ensure it is implemented and communicated.
• Create demos and technical assets.
• Work closely with sales, customer success and R&D to solve technical challenges and drive sales and renewals.
• Run technical demos and proof-of-concept sessions for new business and upsell opportunities.

Requirements:

• Deep experience designing, building, and operating in-production Big Data, stream processing and/or data integration solutions.
• Exceptional interpersonal communications capabilities for delivering demos, webinars, technical documents etc.
• Proven ability to solve customer problems with little supervision, demonstrated through a history of successful B2B infrastructure software development projects.
• Willingness to travel (not very often)
