Job Description
Acting as Studio Lead Artist, you will:
- Lead the the GFX Artist Department in SA1 studio to produce all GFX artwork required by projects in the studio with quality, delivery time and resource efficiency meeting the expectation of Gameloft.
- Recruit, develop and manage GFX artists with relevant skills and competencies as required by the projects at best efficiency.
- Serve as the key contact for the SA1 GFX department to collaborate with other stakeholders in and outside of the GFX department, Studio Manager, HR Manager, as well as the other functional leaders/ managers to ensure the efficient operation.
Job description:
- Be responsible for quality, GFX art production process and delivery time of all GFX art production in SA1;
- Acquire the needed people with relevant competencies and tool in the SA1 GFX Artist Department for proper production delivery;
- Be the key contact for the GFX Artist department working with studio manager and other Company’s internal and external stakeholders;
- Coodinate with local producer lead, functional department heads and studio manager and other subordinates in Artists team to efficiently forecast, develop Art Production capacity to fit in studio current and incoming production need/ requirements;
- Develop the competencies for the team to anticipate the future production need;
- Ensure a competitive Art Production service in the studio in terms of quality, specialization, productivity, cost, and delivery time in the studio;
- Advise, propose to the Studio Manager, HR manager regarding the studio management policy/ studio culture development, regulation related to Artist Department;
- Establish goals, setting checkpoints and deadlines concerning art production of GFX Artist Department;
- Work with Studio Manager, HR, Recruitment team to develop the sourcing for the Department;
- Set up/ update the working process inside Artist Department as well as process collaborating with other teams (Game Designers, Programmers, Producer...) to ensure art production service delivery, quality and productivity;
- Allocate resource in an efficient way to optimize available resource for the best performance and productivity;
