Job description
As a technical writer you will:
* take care of ESET product documentation and knowledge base articles for users written in English language (preparation, execution and evaluation)
* Solve problems in existing product documentation
* Create visualization of various information (schemes, info graphics, graphs, etc.) to increase understanding of product documentation by users
* Evaluate customer feedback and web page analytics in order to update and improve content
* Close cooperation with fellow technical writers & product owners
* Research & suggest improvements to user assistance
You should:
* Understand and use English at B1/B2 level (the higher the level the better)
* Have knowledge of Windows client administration & troubleshooting
* Have basic understanding of computer networks (LAN, IPv4, etc.)
Below mentioned is a nice to have:
* Jira and Confluence or similar task management software
* AV-industry related knowledge
* Copywriting or technical writing – experience in a business or an NGO environment
* BI-related knowledge with tools like Google Analytics
* Linux – basics
* Familiar with writing standards like STE (Simplified Technical English)
* Scripting & any programming language knowledge
Basic wage component (brutto): 5 EUR / hour
*The final basic wage component can be adjusted accordingly to individual skills and experience of selected candidate.
