Test Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

Develop high quality automation test engineering best practices, test strategy and principlesDevelop testing scenarios/cases to address areas such as software scenarios, regression testing, error or defect retests, usability and compatibilityDesign test plans, scenarios, scripts, and/or procedures to determine product quality or release readinessInteract with the product delivery team; participate in product requirement/design reviews to provide input on completeness of functional requirements, product designs, and schedulesReview software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness, with focus to mitigate risksImprove tools and processes to enable seamless Continuous IntegrationClosely monitor industry trends and progress in the automation tool space, maintaining our tools and processes as state-of-the-art

Experience and Qualifications

Bachelor or higher Degree in Computer Science or equivalentAt least 2 years of experience in an automated quality testing environment using tools like SeleniumAt least 2 years of experience with API TestingAt least 1 year of experience working in Agile, preferably on Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) methodologyExperience writing code/tests in one or more programming languagesExperience as an Agile team member (Scrum/Kanban) and being Agile/Lean

Skills and Attributes

Fluency in English is mandatory, other languages is a plusWell organized and quality drivenPro-active and capable to think out of the boxGood communication and negotiation skills with our Development, Product and Business departmentsAffinity with Security/Application Security is valued
