Translator with Spanish & English
Join an interesting project supporting an international pharmaceutical company by providing translation services. Currently the team is looking for a Spanish and English speaker who would join it as a translator of individual case safety reports in the drug safety area.
The primary role of the translator is to process and translate reports on drug-induced adverse reactions from local language (Spanish) into English.
Additionally, the translator’s role entails the analysis of individual safety reports in English and summarization of the essential information.
Responsibilities:
- Translate Case information from Spanish language to English
- Data enter the relevant information into the client tool in English
- Search identified literature databases and find relevant articles and conduct review
- Perform translation of certain abstracts into English
- Conduct translations with accuracy
- Understand and abide deadlines without compromising on quality
- Ensure Quality standards are met as laid out by the client and Accenture
- Ensure compliance with Business policy and contractual requirements of Accenture
- Demonstrate the ability to work as a part of the team
- Willing to learn new processes, concepts and skills
- The data entered should reflect the information in the source documents
Requirements:
- University diploma
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail in translation
- Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
- Good computer literacy
- Good typing speed
- Excellent command in Spanish and English (high proficiency in both languages is a must)
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic
- Detail-oriented
- Strong oral communication skills
