How you'll make an impact at Collibra:

Collibra seeks a UI Designer and prototype developer to support the innovation of our Data Intelligence platform and products. You will help translate new product and feature designs into interactive prototypes.

A day in the life of a UI Designer at Collibra:

You’ll be reporting directly to the Head of UX, and will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

  • Working closely with the design team to create high quality prototypes that will assist in feature development and evaluating design decisions.
  • Support with the testing of your prototypes to ensure valid results, and follow up closely with the results to improve the prototype.
  • Producing design assets for use by development, and collaborate closely to advise front-end engineering teams on implementation.
  • Translating wireframes, user journeys and design concepts into complete and intuitive designs.
  • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards to ensure consistency of UI elements.

You Have:

  • You understand both design and front-end.
  • You are an expert in Sketch and other design software. 
  • You are detail-oriented and deliver impeccable and responsive designs. 
  • You can quickly construct a working prototype using HTML/CSS/JavaScript. 
  • You know the ins and outs of accessibility-compliant design patterns. 
  • You know how to present and defend design deliverables to peers and stakeholders.
  • Based on the the research need, you can assess the required fidelity and best format for a prototype.
  • You are supportive of your peers, and love to help bring the work of other designers to life.
  • You’re fully capable of working in English
  • You are disciplined, flexible and willing to learn and improve
