UX DESIGNER

We’re currently seeking an Interaction Designer specialist to join our fast growing UX team in the Czech Republic. As a designer with Y Soft, you’ll partner with product development teams to bring the best experience for thousands of customers around the world. You’ll work on our Y Soft SafeQ, our flagship platform which includes 3D Printers. Additionally, you can join the development of our upcoming strategic initiatives. 
 

RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS

As a designer you will need to learn and understand complex systems, processes and relationships between people and products. You will collaborate with design and development teams on delivering new products, new functions and improved product qualities to the market. Product management will collaborate with you on definition and execution of user research activities. 
 
Design team at Y Soft helps to make our customers and their businesses smarter. We want to make fun as well as push ourselves outside of our comfort zone and not be afraid to fail often and fast on our journey to solve difficult user problems. We challenge each other to try new things and constantly improve our products. Our mission isn’t just to support product development teams, but evangelize user-centered design thinking across the company, following the latest design trends.
 

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

You have proven experience in user experience role, team or project and words like mental models, journey maps, workflow diagrams and prototypes aren’t new to you. We love designers who are customer oriented and results driven, have analytical and problem solving skills and understand issues on technical level.
 
Your colleagues probably describe you as an enthusiastic and friendly person with excellent communication skills. You have excellent written and spoken English and you’re willing to travel, even abroad as required.
