Role responsibilities

Green Man Gaming are seeking a Web & Optimisation Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team and help us better understand our website. This person will be responsible for all web analytics within Green Man Gaming. This will include helping to improve our website’s traffic, conversion and other important engagement rates by working closely with the product team to optimise the site by running A/B tests and working with the trading team to making sure our merchandising is putting the best products in front of our visitors.

 

Core skills:

  • Google Analytics - The candidate will be an advanced user of Google Analytics including understanding segments, user flows, traffic sources and channels within the web interface
  • A/B testing - The candidate will have extensive experience of designing and analysing A/B tests and using the outcomes of tests to improve the website.
  • Experience with Javascript, Jquery to track user behavior on a website and set up tests in Qubit or similar products would be desirable.
  • Event tracking - The candidate will have an understanding of the different types of events which users can generate on a website and how to use this information to understand and improve user conversion
  • Communication: The candidate will be predominantly liaising with product development team, marketing team and content team. Therefore, the candidate should be able to present his/her ideas and test results.
  • Project Management: The candidate will make sure that the A/B tests are built, run and evaluated in time
  • Analysis: The candidate should be comfortable with analysing the test results and reporting them back to the stakeholders

  • Knowledge with SEO and Traffic analysis
  • Knowledge on Attribution Modelling
  • Knowledge with CPC campaigns
  • SQL knowledge to query data from databases
