Senior Software Developer PHP / PostGreSQL (m/f)

Applicata GmbH (www.applicata.de) is a software company from Berlin. We develop “Applicata”, a management and controlling software for Online Marketing. Our customers use Applicata to steer and optimize their multi-channel marketing in order to get the most out of their data. Applicata is already a technology and innovation leader. In the future, we want to maintain that role and become an integral puzzle piece in any large Online Marketing organization.

We are growing our development team and are currently looking for a Senior Software Developer PHP / PostGreSQL (m/f)

Your tasks

  • Feature development for our software “Applicata”
  • Development of our web based process management interface (PHP, JQUERY,CSS)
  • Development of Backend ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes with PostgreSQL
  • Creation and improvement of development- and quality assurance processes
  • Coordination of junior developers

Your profile

  • Outstanding analytical skills, structured problem solving
  • Self-reliant work style, *exited* about Business Intelligence, data driven decision making
  • 3y+ Experience in standard SQL query design and optimization
  • 1y+ Experience with writing PL/SQL stored procedures in PostgreSQL or Oracle
  • Used to work with Code Versioning (Subversion etc.), Ticketing Tools (JIRA, Bugzilla etc.)
  • Experience in PHP 5 web development (authentication, role based access, MVC, master–detail pattern)
  • Experience in jQuery (jqueryui), HTML, CSS
  • Nice to have: Experience with Business Intelligence solutions like Business Objects, Microstrategy, Qlikview
  • Nice to have: Experience with Amazon AWS EC2, RDS, Redshift
