The internet has transformed almost all of the transactions we make in life - in just a few clicks we can now order a taxi, transfer money abroad and book a holiday of a lifetime. With the tools we have available at our fingertips, things have become a bit more straightforward. Despite this change impacting so many industries, there is one area that still needs some work. When we think of buying or selling a home it can feel pretty overwhelming; where do we go to sell our most valuable asset, where do I get a mortgage, what happens next, do I need a lawyer? This is where Settled comes in. Settled was created with the dream of making things easier so we can all feel a bit more Settled. Settled was founded by brother and sister team Gemma and Paul Young. Having worked for the likes of Google and different real estate companies, they combined their experience of property and technology and their great passion for empowering consumers (rather than a middleman) and they worked with lots of sellers and buyers to reimagine what property transactions should be like for this generation. They saw that buyers and sellers were yearning for a more open and modern solution that allowed them to stay close to their most valuable asset: their home. Their vision for the future of property is one where finding, financing and selling a home is swift and straightforward; helping us all get Settled more easily.
